What exactly is the Volley and how do I use it?

Is this safe for me if I have poor balance or arthritis?
Yes! Volley is designed with low-impact movement in mind. You can go at your own pace, stay seated if needed, and still get benefits from the exercises. It's especially helpful for people with stiff joints or slower reflexes.
Why use a balloon instead of a ball?

What if I live alone? Can I still use it by myself?
Absolutely. Many exercises are designed to be done solo. You can volley it off the wall, toss and tap it to yourself, or follow along with the guided routines.
Does the balloon pop easily? What happens if it deflates?
Volley balloons are thicker than regular party balloons, but like any balloon, they can deflate over time. Each set includes two balloons, and they’re easy to replace if needed.
Do I need to be fit or flexible to do these exercises?
Not at all. The videos are made for all ability levels — seated or standing — with modifications for every fitness level. If you can raise your arms or move a little, you can get started.

I am known as The Fall Prevention Coach, because I teach seniors how to avoid falls. You can research me at FallPrevention.coach
Since 2022, I have visited senior homes teaching seniors how to reduce their fall risk and combat aging. Over and over again, I learned that seniors were not exercising because they (1) were afraid of falling and (2) they didn't enjoy it.
It motivated me to develop tools that any senior could use to protect themself against sarcopenia and falls. This is why I founded Sturdey!

Bouncing a ball seems mundane, but this silly thing is actually challenging / beside eye - hand coordination I find myself more focused / paying attention to what I’m doing / sort of like walking- seems like a natural action, but as we age really need to pay attention and pick up our feet/ balance
